Last week iTive was co-hosting two social media related info events which were held in Logistia Technology Center in Kauhajoki, Finland. Wednesday’s event, Digi-Business – Social Media for Entrepreneurs was targeted especially for entrepreneurs who are eager to try new approaches in their marketing strategies. Guest speaker at the event was Hessu Järvinen who gave a talk on how to make business by using the social media tools.

Thursday’s event was focused on social media in education. There were students and teachers from Kauhajoen Kauppaoppilaitos attending the event. The key speaker of this event was Anne Rongas, a teacher and a pioneer of social media in educational sector in Finland. Anne’s presentation which was also given virtually was really inspiring and gave everybody a lot of new things to think about. iTive’s CEO Andrea Vascellari, who was attending World Blogging Forum in Romania sent his contribution with a video-talk on social media guidelines.
